Bruins For Israel

BIPAC2017.jpg “The fact is we can’t take Jewish support of Israel for granted. Hillel at UCLA leverages the AIPAC Policy Conference through preparatory and post-conference programming to educate and inspire Jewish Bruins to take impactful action on-campus.” - Bruins-Israel Public Affairs Committee Member

In 2016, Hillel at UCLA sent 60 students, the single largest student delegation; and from the furthest distance.

In 2017, our delegates are doing more in advance of conference including multiple learning sessions aimed to curtail the learning curve. Students will be briefed on issues so that upon arrival in D.C., students will be at ease in the conversation, and able to add insightful questions. Learning sessions will culminate with our second annual Bruin Leadership Dinner, where students will hear about American-Israel relations from elected officials.

Post-conference, students come back to campus far more knowledgeable on the issues and inspired to act through coalition-building and making their voices heard on-campus through media and in their organizational involvements.

Here are a few ways that you personally can advocate for Israel on campus:

  • For $1,800, you can sponsor a student to attend the AIPAC Policy Conference and other immersive advocacy trainings.
  • For $5,000, you can sponsor a non-Jewish student leader to travel to Israel as a Fact Finder on our Annual Fact Finding Journey.

And a gift in any amount will positively impact the Jewish future.

Thank you for your generous support!
