The Impact of Your Gift
We invite you to partner with us and make an investment in a vibrant Jewish future.
By making a gift to Hillel at UCLA, you will be joining over 1,000 contributors each year who make an impact on the lives of UCLA's 3,500 Jewish students.
Over 70% of Hillel at UCLA's revenues come from contributions by alumni, parents, the community, and friends like you.
Imagine What Your Gift Can Do
With $5,000, you can:
Fund training, professional development and educational experiences to build a strong foundation for future Jewish leaders. Programs include the Jewish Leadership Council, the Waxman Fellowship, and the Campus Engagement Initiative.
With $3,600, you can:
Provide support for our Israel Partnership Initiative, affording students mentorship by the Israel Fellow and bolstering an active Bruins for Israel, which promotes Israeli culture, politics and society through direct student advocacy.
With $2,500, you can:
Subsidize the cost of Shabbat, Passover and other holiday meals. Our Shabbat program alone provides over 5,000 free meals - in addition to weekly community-building and multi-denominational prayer opportunties - to hundreds students throughout the year.
With $1,500, you can:
Fund programming for incoming students - including Orientation Week for the newsest class, and FYSH (First Year Students at Hillel) programs like retreats, social events, and community service projects - that are integral to providing new students with a sense of Jewish Community away from home.
With $1,000, you can:
Enrich students' lives by supporting the myriad pluralistic learning opportunities, including one-on-one discussions with Jewish educators and participation in small study groups.
With $500, you can:
Support a lounge night or performance showcase where students can share their musical, poetic or other creative talents.
With $180, you can:
Provide resources for the weekly Challah for Hunger program, where students gather each week to make and sell challah to raise money and awareness for Darfur relief.
But a gift in any amount will help us strengthen the foundation of Jewish life at UCLA and build a bridge for students as they enter adulthood.
