Matisyahu Concert

Matisyahu Concert

SOLD OUT!

We are thrilled to report that the concert is sold out! If you do not not have a ticket there may still be an opportunity for you to join us.

Student Stand By Line: If there are any No Shows* at 8:00pm seats will be released to the Stand By line. Current UCLA students only. Must show valid UCLA ID.

Singer/songwriter and Grammy nominated Reggae Artist, Matisyahu will perform exclusively for students, faculty, and staff at twelve Universities nationwide this Spring starting on March 20, 2016 as a part of a tour to promote unity and empathy through music.

Matisyahu will be joined by special guest Nadim Azzam who brings a unique blend of acoustic hip-hop and singer/songwriter presence to the stage. Brought up in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Azzam was born to an Egyptian-Palestinian father and an American Jewish mother, both of whom raised Nadim with a keen sense of social justice and indiscriminating love for others of different cultural backgrounds.

Matisyahu will bring his full band, which features original Stubbs guitarist Aaron Dugan, Dub Trio bassist Stu Brooks, percussionist Tim Keiper, and keyboardist BigYuki. Nadim Azzam will perform solo to open each show.

Matisyahu and Nadim will also collaborate on stage throughout the performance showcasing the types of relationships the tour strives to develop through creative expression. Together, Matisyahu and Nadim seek to give fans music for music's sake, and hope that through this performance, mutual respect and the acknowledgement of human similarities will be strengthened.

*Ticket Holders: Your ticket is valid until 8:00pm, after which it will be considered a "No Show". No tickets available to the General Public.
