A Message From Executive Director, Rabbi Aaron Lerner

If you know only one thing about Hillel at UCLA, it should be this: our goal is to empower your student to solidify a personal commitment to Jewish Life. We are the bridge between your home the rest of their adult lives, and we take that responsibility seriously. That's why we focus on empowering students to discover personal and sustainable Jewish identities which will enrich their lives and inform their decisions for years to come.

We serve a Jewish community at UCLA or more than 3,500 undergraduates, graduate students and faculty with a budget of nearly $1.8MM. We raise 90% of our budget from parents, alumni, and community members who believe that one of the keys to the Jewish future is engagement during the formative years of college. We know that you pay tuition and support your student's academic needs. Please help us support their Jewish growth as well.

We are also prepared to assist students with just about any problem at the University. Should you ever any have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to me at (310) 208-3081 x104 or You can also click here to schedule a meeting with me.
