Bring your event to Hillel at UCLA!
The Yitzhak Rabin Hillel Center for Jewish Life at UCLA was officially dedicated on November 17, 2002. The 25,000 square foot building is a dynamically designed home away from home for 4,000+ Jewish young adults currently enrolled at UCLA - a place where students socialize and share Jewish learning, celebrations and programs.
The Hillel Center also welcomes suitable rental requests.
The Grade A, multi-use building has a dedicated staff and state-of-the-art amenities (such as Wi-Fi access, a full-service/kosher-certified kitchen and a large Coffee Bar & Lounge). We can comfortably accommodate functions of diverse size and style - such as a weekly book club for 12, dinner and dancing for 150 or a public lecture and cocktail reception for 300.

Graced by Spectral Windows representing the Torah, the spacious auditorium is perhaps the "soul" of Hillel - having been used for High Holiday services, student Shabbats and Bar Mitzvahs, as well as family banquets, receptions, seminars, lectures, conferences, corporate meetings and community events.
It can be divided into three smaller halls - and is adjacent to a lobby hosting a revolving student art gallery and expansive windows facing the Hollywood Hills.
Catering is discreetly serviced by a separate elevator to the kosher certified kitchen on the 2nd floor.

Anchored by an actual franchise outlet of a national coffee house - Hillel's recreation room/lounge is perhaps the "heart" of Hillel. It features relaxed post-modern furniture, faux fireplace, billiard table, ping pong table, piano, large-screen TV, Wi-Fi access and outdoor patio with UCLA Bruin umbrellas and comfortable "coffee bar armchairs."
The space is popular for intimate screenings, social club meetings, casual receptions, children's parties and functions utilizing the services of the full coffee bar - serving your favorite teas, espresso-drinks, ice blendeds, bagels and pastries - all kosher-certified. And yes, we accept your Bruin card!
The Hillel Coffee House & Tea Lounge is open Mon-Thurs 9 am - 8 pm; Fri 9 am - 1 pm; Sun 12 pm - 4pm. |

Rates
Reasonable rental rates are negotiable depending on your needs - with significant price breaks given for weekday use and rentals under 5 hours. A substantial discount applies to our friends and neighbors across the street: the UCLA faculty.
Charges relate to space rental (ranging from $100 to $950 - which covers the provision of banquet/dining tables and chairs), manpower (hourly charges for security*, facilities and custodial staff as required by the function), and reimbursements for ancillary products/services (such as AV equipment, beverage service, paper/plastic supplies, linens, etc.).
The facility enjoys a state-of-the-art, kosher-certified, hotel-style kitchen - and caterer-friendly portable food warmers are also available. Although we do not offer in-house catering services, we can refer you to a highly qualified kosher caterer to suit your budget and plans.
