Bruins for Israel: The pro-Israel group at UCLA
WHO WE ARE
Bruins for Israel is a student inspired and student run campus organization at UCLA. Our goals are to promote a positive image of the State of Israel on campus, to serve as a resource and to educate those who want to know more about Israel, and to convey Israel's desire for a secure peace to the campus community.
WHAT WE DO
Bruins for Israel hosts a variety of cultural, political, social, and advocacy events to make the campus aware of Israel and all it has to offer. These range from large speakers to student-led educational sessions to cultural activities. We also hold regular meetings for the general board and promote a variety of trips to Israel.
**Examples of events and speakers from last year include briefings from the Israeli Consulate, Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz, week-long Israeli Independence Day Celebration, Shannan Street from Israeli Hip-Hop group Hadag Nachash and many more!
