MASA Grants: Grants of $2000 are available for undergraduate studies, and up to $4500 for graduate studies. (www.masaisrael.org)

National Security Education Program (NSEP) David L. Boren Scholarship: NSEP awards scholarships to American students for study of world regions critical to U.S. interests (including Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin American & the Caribbean, and the Middle East). The American Jewish League for Israel: Offers merit-based scholarships for Israeli university programs. (www.americanjewishleague.org/ScholarshipInformation.html)

Scholarships from Rotary International: Scholarships of up to $26,000 for Israeli university studies and Hebrew studies. Must apply well in advance. (www.rotary.org/en/StudentsAndYouth/EducationalPrograms/AmbassadorialScholarships)

Helyn B. Reich Memorial Scholarship Fund: Reich scholarships are awarded each year to a limited number of American students who choose to study at one of several designated Israeli universities. Individual Israeli universities also offer need- and merit-based scholarships for international students.
