How To Maximize Your Experience.

We’ve designed the playlists to cover the major sections of the services, filled with the tunes many of you will find most familiar. Each playlist can be experienced by just letting it play through, or you can pause it and weave in your own use of the Machzor (prayer book) to do a fuller service.

Machzor Lev Shalom
The links to the Machzor services are in the YouTube playlists and here for the evening service and here for the daytime services. It will likely work best if you open the link in a Google Chrome browser with an ad blocker turned on. You may have to play with the zoom in-and-out settings (likely in the View Menu) to make it most readable for you. If you prefer to buy your own copy, you can get their inexpensive e-book here.

A few notes.

The evening service is short, but this provides a great opportunity to do some journaling or other introspection to set your intention for Rosh Hashanah. Consider taking a few extra minutes to focus on aspects of the service that you wouldn’t normally have time to fully enjoy / experience. Or allocate some time for journaling, silence, or enjoying the songs we’ve included at the end of the playlist.
Shofar in most communities is only sounded on Sunday (and not on Shabbat). See Rabbi Aaron’s explanation video for more.

Community in Comments.

How we wish we could be together sharing apple cake and drinking the fruit of the vine! What we can offer is an encouragement to consider commenting on the videos to leave impressions, share your joy, and gratitude. We seek to keep a community of positivity and magnifying light amid darker times. Please help reflect the light!
