This Gala dinner and reception will celebrate the enduring achievements and legacy of our beloved Rabbi Chaim and establish the Rabbi Chaim Seidler-Feller Institute of Jewish Learning.

During his tenure, Rabbi Chaim stimulated a period of unparalleled growth and vitality for Hillel at UCLA. He nurtured the arts through the Dortort Center for Creativity in the Arts, developed the potential of countless Jewish Bruins, and helped shape the values and priorities of his students through the promotion of a celebratory, inclusive Judaism for all Jews at UCLA and in the surrounding community.

He fostered a progressive and courageous approach to Zionism by facilitating travel to and teaching about Israel and served as a leading Jewish scholar on an international stage. Most notably, Rabbi Chaim spearheaded the construction of the Yitzhak Rabin Center for Jewish Life, a welcoming home away from home on Hilgard for all Jewish Bruins.

Above all, Rabbi Chaim demonstrated a commitment to Jewish learning, inspiring generations of Jewish Bruins with his dynamic teaching and open-hearted presence. The Rabbi Chaim Seidler-Feller Institute of Jewish Learning will honor this legacy.

To attend the event or to participate in our special Book of Memories, which will be a compilation of stories, pictures, reflections, and well-wishes for Rabbi Chaim to cherish, please click the link above.

We look forward to including you in this singular event. Your participation will make the evening all the more memorable and special for the Seidler-Feller family. Thank you!
