Dave Cohn first joined the staff of Hillel at UCLA as an intern on the development team for 2015-2016, and is privileged to continue this year in another role. Originally from Chicago, Dave's background includes experience in education, youth and camping, and the arts. His passion for Jewish communal work stems largely from his many years as a camper and staff member at OSRUI, a Jewish summer camp in Wisconsin. Prior to joining Hillel at UCLA, Dave served as a music educator at a public high school in Chicago and at a synagogue in Westchester County, NY.

Currently pursuing master's degrees in Jewish Nonprofit Management and Public Administration, Dave holds bachelor's degrees in music performance and music education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he was an active participant in life at Hillel. Dave is married to Sarah Ruben, an early childhood educator, and they are proud parents of a baby daughter, Selah.
