It is with a heavy heart that we mourn the loss of George Saadian z”l.  An experienced real estate developer and a leader in the fire protection industry, George was appointed by the Los Angeles Mayor’s Office to the LA Board of Fire Sprinkler Technical Committee and was elected to the American Fire Sprinkler Association, Southern California Chapter where he served as its Chairman. 

Working as a part time draftsman directly after high school, George went on to study at CSUN and transfer to UCLA where he graduated in 1985 with a B.S. in mechanical engineering with a focus on fire protection engineering. 

George was deeply commited philanthropically to the Jewish and pro-Israel community. All contributions made on this form will honor his legacy and support the George Saadian AIPAC Scholarship Fund established by Mark Weinstein, AIPAC Real Estate Chair, and will send UCLA Hillel students to the AIPAC Policy Conference.
